In 2009, having had one of those my-world-has-just-been-turned-upside moments, I was left wandering through each day rather aimlessly. So when I first started blogging in April 2009, I was known as the Aimless Wanderer - AW for short. You can find my main blog here... writing it has helped me on so many levels and the support I recieved from a handful of bloggers in particular was simply amazing. I finished my Legal Practice Course (LPC) with commendation, applied for a place on the Mountbatten Programme, became a Paralegal (only managing to secure roles on a temporary and contract basis due to the insane level of competition in London), applied for a grand total of one training contract (for a firm I actually want to work for) this year, got accepted onto the Mountbatten Programme and am now unbelievably excited at the prospect of heading out to New York City for a whole year!!!

I've created this blog to document my experiences as a Mountbatten Intern wandering through the City of New York...
