This is simply a PERSONAL blog (and a spin-off to my main blog The Aimless Wanderer...) through which I seek to document a years' worth of my continued and possibly misguided wanderings in a City of monsterous proportions which is occupied by a seemingly friendly bunch of over-worked, slightly-neurotic and therapist-dependent strangers who want to make it BIG in the City of dreams... the City of New York! Naturally, as I will be documenting my adventures as Mountbatten Intern, I hope this blog will be a useful and entertaining read for those of you thinking of applying for a place on the Mountbatten Programme. Potential, future Mountbattenites will be happy to note, that the Mountbatten Institute are blissfully unaware of the existence of this blog (at least for now) and has no input, whatsoever, in the content of this blog.
